Highlights about Kenzie Field:
My love for nature started when I was very young.
I love to camp, hike, boat, travel, learn, and get excited about the little things in nature.
I attained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University.
Since 2013 I have been an Environmental Educator creating, developing, customizing, implementing, and delivering curriculum-based school programs for kindergarten to grade nines.
"The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss makes me tear up.

What are FIELD Kits?FIELD Kits are Friendly, Interactive, Engaging, Learning, Discovery kits that connect students to nature while providing a lesson plan, tactile components, indoor and outdoor activities, all requiring little to no volunteer support, and easing preparation work for teachers. As well, to help with budgets, these rentable kits can be shared within the school, reducing the overall price for each teacher.

FIELD Kits is a fun play on words for "field trips" that encompasses the perfect definition of what we do and why; plus FIELD is also my last name.  If this wasn't meant to be, I don't know what is... FIELD is also an acronym to express the vision of what my kits entail.
Friendly: Inclusivity within the education of the kits.
Interactive: Students can interact with biofacts and materials that would connect them to something from nature.
Engaging: Each kit has components that will keep students engaged and excited to learn more.
Learning: The objective is to have the students learn about why nature is essential.
Discovery: Each kit is rented out for a week at a time; therefore, teachers and students have the time and ability to learn and discover the world around them.
Check out fieldkits.ca to see all 10 available kits; Adaptations, Life Cycles, All About Plants, Biomes, and Woodland Wonders. To inquire more about FIELD Kits contact Kenzie at fieldkits@gmail.com. FIELD Kits can't wait to help serve you and your students.
