HOW TO ACCESS RECORDINGS
  1. Recordings will be uploaded to SCHED by Sunday at midnight. (Sorry for the delay. It’s taking more time to edit the session recordings than anticipated.) 
  2. Log In using the link in the top right of your browser window.
  3. Click on the title to open the session details window then click on the green "Play Recording" button to open the video.
  4. Keynote videos are password protected. Check your email for the password.
  5. Recordings will be available until March 30, 2022 at 11:59 pm. 


FILL OUT EVALUATIONS TO WIN PRIZES!!!

  • Submit session feedback - Click on the sessions you attended at this year’s convention and fill out the simple smilie face and comment box feedback form. Session feedback closes on Sunday at 11:59 pm.

ATA Educational Trust
The ATA Educational Trust is a registered charitable organization closely affiliated with the Alberta Teachers’ Association. Through its bursary program, the Trust encourages teachers to advance their knowledge and teaching skills by enrolling in courses of study. The Trust’s grant programs encourage teachers to attend professional development activities and events.

ATA Doctoral Fellowships in Education
The fellowship program is intended to recognize academic excellence and to help defray the financial costs of university study.

Communities of Practice Inquiry Grant
The Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) is pleased to offer 10 matching grants of up to $2,000 each in the 2019/20 school year for groups of teachers to develop a community of practice that will address an issue of professional relevance using an inquiry model.

Diversity, Equity and Human Rights (DEHR) Grants
$2,000 to support DEHR-related projects organized by schools or locals

John Mazurek Memorial—Morgex Insurance Scholarship
A $2,500 scholarship provided by Morgex Insurance to be used for an approved professional development course or part of an organized program of study in the field of business education and/or the use of computer technology in education from a recognized Canadian public institution.

Mentorship Grant
An annual grant of $2,000 for a three year period to assist locals with developing formal mentorship programs with their divisions

Nadene M Thomas Graduate Research Bursary
A bursary in the amount of $5,000 offered annually to a member of the ATA who is enrolled in a graduate program in a specialty in education at a recognized Canadian university. Research must focus on health issues affecting teachers and/or on teachers' working conditions.

Strategic Planning Grant Program
Each year, the Association offers its subgroups—locals, specialist councils and convention associations—matching grants of up to $2,000 each to offset the costs of organizing strategic planning activities to discuss their plans and set long-term goals.
