Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Teachers need every tool available to help facilitate learning. The movement styles taught in this session can be incorporated into the classroom to improve Focus, Attention, Co-ordination, Memory, Presence; Calm; Peace; and Performance. Moving the body is good not only for physical health, but mental, spiritual and emotional health as well. Experience great tools for personal well-being, and improving student performance. Learn The Brain Dance (a pattern of eight movements that reorganize our central nervous system to help improve performance, focus and co-ordination), the principles of Nia (a fusion fitness technique that positively impacts the hippocampus, improving memory and cognitive function). Note: Session includes dance-based movement, so dress comfortably (in layers) and bring a water bottle.
