Being an Intentional Leader: 10 Life Lessons in Leadership

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This session is for informal and formal leaders looking for more intentionality and direction in their educational leadership--whether in the classroom or as an administrator. 10 "life lessons" will be explored such as managing your leadership time and finding a way to be at your best throughout the day. How does a leader continually maintain the posture of a learner first, and how do we learn to lead from our strengths? We will explore using our time and our strengths intentionally in leadership, and share thoughts on the importance of self-care in overwhelming times. The Alberta Leadership Quality Standard competencies and current literature on leadership underpin these 10 "life lessons" in leadership, such as the importance of fostering effective relationships especially in turbulent times. From new to experienced leader, this session is sure to encourage and uplift the leader looking for some direction in 2022!
