Place-based and experiential learning are powerful strategies for engaging students in meaningful, curriculum connected learning. This workshop will explore a variety of GreenLearning's free, STEM-based programs on climate change, energy and the green economy. Educators will discover how our award-winning programs can be used to form specific and meaningful unit plans and how our challenges make assessment fun for both students and teachers. This session is suitable for educators in grade 9-12 learning in-person, online, through asynchronous and/or synchronous environments.
