What do we know about Depression and how it is affecting our kids today? How does Anxiety show up in the students in our classroom? Without knowing which students are suffering with symptoms and haven't gotten help or refuse to acknowledge they need support, what can we do as teachers to get them through the year? Looking into recent research, we will explore universal methods to engage with kids who are struggling with the two most common mental illnesses in adolescents.
