Ever Active Schools is a charity that supports healthy school communities all across Alberta. We offer professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators on a wide variety of topics to advance well-being in schools. Ever Active Schools puts on annual events such as Shaping the Future and the Resiliency Summit to provide networking opportunities in combination with professional development, as well as to facilitate student leadership. We engage and support schools through grant-funded projects that see us working in close proximity with community partners. Many of our projects are delivered through Ever Active Schools in Residence, which supports schools throughout the year following the Comprehensive School Health framework. Finally, we develop resources for teachers and students to support daily physical activity, positive mental well-being and to address learning competencies.
